National charity TLC for Kids will this year launch its first major fundraising event called Tracky Dack Day which aims to raise awareness of kids battling illnesses and injuries in hospital.
On Thursday June 9, 2011 the fashion industry will rally together to celebrate TLC’s new fundraising day with an exciting launch event at The Whitehouse Institute, Melbourne.
Guests will enjoy a fashion parade hosted by leading fashion and celebrity stylist Sarah Gale and styled by Phillip Boon featuring a stellar Australian designer line up showcasing custom made trackies by iconic designers including Carla Zampatti, Aurelio Costarella, Anthony Capon, Neo Dia, Clarence Chai, J’Aton, Jenny Bannister, Dhini, Alpha60, Lui Hon, LIFEwithBIRD, Trimapee, Ellery, Rachel Gilbert and Extinct.
Sports stars including the Sydney Football Club, the Melbourne Rebels, Dale Thomas, Luke Ball, Jimmy Bartel, Steele Sidebottom, Jack Watts, Paddy Ryder and Luke Hodge have jumped on board and signing trackies that will be auctioned off on the night.
There are a limited amount of tickets left, so get in quick to come along to a fantastic evening that will no doubt delight, plus you might be able to bid for a pair of designer trackies!

Sydney band Amy Meredith hit Melbourne Central yesterday as part of urban street festival Two Blocks.
Dedicated fans were lined up in Shot Tower Square waiting for Joel, Christian and Kosta, of Amy Meredith, to appear on stage.
The Melbourne Central appearance was Amy Meredith’s first public performance since the launch of their TOP 10 debuting album Restless. The boys performed popular favourites “Pornstar” and “Lying” along with their brand new single “Young at Heart” before signing endless copies of Restless, Amy Meredith posters, school diaries and dresses!
