LMFF and Specsavers Celebrate the Return of Menswear with International Supermodel Helena Christensen

The L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF) is proud to welcome international supermodel and photographer Helena Christensen to Australia for the 2011 Festival. Ms Christensen will appear on behalf of Specsavers in the LMFF Menswear Runway at Central Pier on Thursday March 17, 2011.

Specsavers is proud to bring Ms Christensen to Australia to launch Specsavers 2011 Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition.

Joining Ms Christensen on the LMFF Menswear Runway will be over 20 of Australia’s best male models showcasing the autumn winter collections from leading Menswear designers including Arthur Galan AG, Autonomy, Alpha60, Campaign, From Britten, Farage, Three Over One and Vanishing Elephant. Ms Christensen will be wearing custom made designs from leading Australian designers including Alex Perry.

The LMFF Menswear Runway will take place at Peninsula, Central Pier on Thursday March 17, 2011 at 10.30pm. Ticket holders will be invited to enjoy a free Peroni in the bar from 9pm on presentation of their ticket.

Tickets to the LMFF Menswear Runway presented by Specsavers are $95 for Premium Reserve, $49 for Reserved Seating. Available now through Ticketmaster

Emirates was delighted to welcome Enrique Iglesias to the 2010 Emirates Melbourne Cup.

The Madrid-born, Miami-raised, international superstar has sold 55 million albums worldwide and returned to Australia to promote his Top 10 album Euphoria which was released earlier this year with the first single, ‘I Like It’ featuring Pitbull.

Enrique enjoyed Emirates Melbourne Cup Day at the exclusive Spanish-themed Emirates marquee where he watched the 150th running of the ‘Race That Stops a Nation’^TM.

Wil Anderson hosted the National Final of the L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy Awards on Sunday 4^th July 2010, where three hair colourists and stylists were announced as the winners of the world’s most prestigious colour competition.

Over 500 local and international beauty professionals and VIP guests delighted in performances by the Potbelleez and neon dancers Vospertron, as well as an International showcase by Parisian hairdressing personality Laurent Decreton, who has worked on the haute couture shows for Chanel, Yves Saint-Laurent, Jean-Paul Gaultier.
